After 2010’s playful Buggy, Loden (aka Belgium’s Jolan Koks) - a Producer many will recognize from collaborations with the MC Busdriver - returns with his third full length LP entitled "Burning Man Stage Hand". Instead of a record comprised of separate tracks, this 22 track album flows as a set, an instrumental hip hop journey mixed into a singular blend. Many parts were recorded in long direct to disk session and afterwards edited. Beats, field recordings, layers of synths and bass all fight for a place in the spectrum telling a story about hazy memories, people you met and forgot fast, colours and shapes, and many finer things in life.

Here Loden focuses more on textures and sound. One moment confusing, another moment soothing. It’s an aural trip through every day city life. Like walking with your headphones on, trying to shut out the noise around you, but you can’t. For fans of Flying Lotus and Prefuse 73, this album will not dissapoint to set your musical tingle afire.
